At Rising Phoenix Fund Inc., we focus on the woman who’s already working—selling tomatoes at a market table, frying snacks at a roadside stall, or making soap, baskets, or fabric goods at home and carrying them out to sell. She’s not chasing headlines. She’s trying to earn enough this week to feed her family, pay school costs, and keep her business going.
Running a small business can be exhausting anywhere. But for many women in developing countries, it also comes with extra roadblocks—no safe place to store goods, limited access to small loans, high fees, and being turned away by banks for not having paperwork or collateral. We exist to help remove those roadblocks in practical ways.
